Camp Security

How Important is Camp Security?

Growing up as an outdoors man, this has led to many nights sleeping under the stars. May it have been sleeping with a tent in the yard as a small kid, sleeping out on a water bank to go fishing and hunting the next morning, or taking the family out to a state park or designated camping area. When out camping we like to take a few amenities that we may find in our home; cooking supplies, chairs, coolers, clothes, and more. One thing that we don’t usually get to bring is any type of security detection devices. Now don’t get that mistaken for protection devices (guns, ammo, knifes), I am talking about security detection devices that lets us know if someone is approaching out camp site or entering out tents . These could be like the motion sensors as seen in the movies or other like detection devices. We don’t have anything to help notify ourselves when we are at our camp site or when we are doing activities away from the campsite concerning our protection or belongings.

Security detection devices while we are at our campsite could alert us of people or animals sharing the same space in the woods. We can worry about things like malicious behavior and them stumbling on a device that could alert us campers, yes that would be nice. This makes me think of the movie Congo, camping deep into the Congo Forests, the explorers set up signaling devices that alerted if killer gorillas entered the camp site. Some triggered defense mechanisms and some triggered lights to shine the breached area.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be away and know if someone is messing with your belongings at home? Your home alarm system by ATP Alarms can do just that. A home security system with Total Connect is something that will notify you if intruders are in your home or have attempted to gain access. Nowadays it can inform you in real time via your smart phone and even send video of the event.

Camping outside of our sturdy and securely built homes may lead people to be nervous about their health and belongings. Camping is a great way to fully experience Mother Nature and the outdoors. So to allow the camping experience to be one of enjoyment and confidence of your safety, leaving your home knowing there is a security system with Total Connect by ATP Alarms in place will allow you the peace of mind you deserve as you venture into the great outdoors knowing your domicile is safe and secure. Are these devices as seen in the movies on the market? Are the scenes from the movie Congo farfetched? Perhaps they are, but home security is one of many services that ATP Alarms specializes in. If you don’t have one, a free consultation is only a phone call away.

ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails.
