Protect Who You Love

Protect Who You Love and We Love Dogs Too!

After hopping in my car at 7:45 this morning two things instantly came to mind on my drive to the office. For starters, its March 10th and snowing… enough said. Secondly, and more importantly, what issue should I bring up at our weekly Monday morning, “ Protect Who You Love ” Company meeting? Then it dawned on me, I have been hearing a rebuttal from people who I approach in regards to having a security system that has left me quite flabbergasted. I think the only thing that makes me cringe worse than nails on the chalkboard is when I hear someone say “ I don’t need a system, I have a dog ”. As a dog lover this is one thing that infuriates me to no end. The people who use this as an excuse definitely feel as though they have a close bond with their pet, which is why he or she will protect them or their belongings. If this is the case, then don’t you believe that your dog deserves the same type of protection that he or she provides you ?

Many people in today’s society refer to their dog as part of their family , which is why I think dog owners should be even more prone to getting a security system. Sure, when you’re home they can be the first line of defense by waking you up with a loud bark if an intruder tries to enter your residence. My main concern is what if you are not home. Who will be there to make sure your beloved companion is okay? If someone is going to break into your house do you necessarily believe that they are going to treat your dog with care ? Remember, we are talking about someone who is breaking into your house, so I do not think they are really going to take the time to sit down and pet your defenseless dog. After making that statement I get ready for the second most common response of, “well I live in a nice area, home invasions are not common in my town”. Well, what is going to happen if there is a fire or a carbon monoxide leak and no one is there to address the situation? I saw the movie “ Lassie ” when I was about five, but still have not come across a dog with the ability to handle a situation like her. You now have part of your family defenseless in a terrible situation. So the big question is who will call the fire department if one of these situations occurs? That is what American Total Protection is here for.

At ATP , our slogan is “ Protect who you love ”. To our company this does not stop with blood related family and it shouldn’t either for our current or potential customers. When you bring a dog into your family, you should show them the same love that they show you, it is part of the responsibility of being a pet owner. So call ATP alarms today and make sure you protect who you love .

Security alarms can communicate via internet (hardwired or WiFi depending on the system), phone line, or cellular. Often security alarms have two communication paths—one that is primary and one that is backup. ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails. We believe that the best is setup for fast and reliable communication is internet/WiFi primary with cellular backup. We feel that the internet communication is the fastest while the cellular is most reliable. Traditional alarms relied on phone lines to communicate.
