Making a Security Decision?

When consumers are looking for a home security system , they tend to look at two different things when making this security decision , money and company . While we here at ATP have great pricing, I firmly believe that basing your decision on money alone will get you burned in the long run. Let me give you a real life example. Have you ever been to one of these new trendy clothing stores where you can buy 10 shirts for one hundred dollars? If so then you know exactly where I am heading with this. After you wash these shirts a few times you start to pick out the flaws in the products you have purchased. The same can be said about the security industry.

The amount of business I receive at American Total Protection due to homeowners or businesses not being happy with their current system is mind blowing. Everyone wants to save money , we at American Total Protection get that, but there are ways to secure you belongings while not breaking the bank on the system. You are making an investment and protection your family or business . If all you are worried about is getting a security system for free then you most likely don’t have the right reason for wanting a system.

Like I said earlier in the blog, pricing isn’t the only thing though. People these days do not ask enough questions, they only see dollar signs. As a salesman it’s my job tell you everything about our company, but I often times wonder if other salesman from other companies do that. Here are a few things that make us a little different from our competition:

  1. We are a family owned company , and while we take care of residential security, we also have clients such as the town of Hamden school district
  2. ATP runs tests on your system to make sure your products are running correctly for free when other companies charge you an extra fee.
  3. We have technicians who have been installing for over 20 years and have built relationships with our clients due to them servicing their system for so long.
  4. If you become a client of ours, your salesman will not fall off the face of the earth after installing a system like most companies.

Like I said, these are just a few of the benefits that we offer that make our company so unique. One thing I can tell you for sure is that most companies will not have qualities like the four I mentioned above. So whether you’re looking for a new system or looking to switch companies , do your due diligence before making a decision , otherwise you might be going thru the same process within the next year.

This is real life . You need a real security company . We are American Total Protection .

Security alarms can communicate via internet (hardwired or WiFi depending on the system), phone line, or cellular. Often security alarms have two communication paths—one that is primary and one that is backup. ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails. We believe that the best is setup for fast and reliable communication is internet/WiFi primary with cellular backup. We feel that the internet communication is the fastest while the cellular is most reliable. Traditional alarms relied on phone lines to communicate.
