You Need a Real Security Company

This is real life. You need a real security company.

This is real life. You need a real security company… What does that mean? As one of my associates recently said, “ Can you recommend a Japanese restaurant that serves good pizza? ” His point? It is the same as asking “ Do you know a cable company that offers good home security?

In 2014, there are many companies trying to enter the security space, ranging from Comcast to even Google . These corporations are spending hundreds of millions on advertising in order to penetrate the home security market. The issue? Are cable companies really equipped to enter the security space? It is very concerning that these companies that have very little experience in the field are trying to grow so quickly. At American Total Protection , our team has over 100 years’ of collective experience . We have been there, seen that. The massive conglomerates can spend a fortune on advertising, but cannot buy experience or attention to detail. Experience comes with time and the invaluable lessons learned through being in business for over four decades.

With that said, my experiences with cable companies have not been customer service oriented. In fact, last time I had to deal with a cable provider, the company missed three “windows” . In the alarm industry, that is unacceptable. When a customer’s alarm is going off in the middle of the night, service is expected to be prompt and professional. When there is an actual alarm, it is even more important that a trusted company responds immediately and professionally. ATP ’s owners see every complaint and suggestion that comes in through our website. If we are not performing up to your standards, we would like to know about it, it’s the ATP family way.

When designing a security system , ATP does not offer a cookie cutter solution. Each home is unique and each family unique, resulting in a uniquely designed security system that meets a family’s needs and budget. Our installers are all licensed and trained accordingly. Each week we hold training sessions on the latest equipment and code in order to ensure that all of our employees are well versed in the security field. We are constantly monitoring crime trends to ensure that homeowners in those regions are given the opportunity to learn about better protecting their families.

Next time you see or hear a fancy advertisement come across the television or radio , do your research and ask yourself— is this a real security company ?

This is real life . You need a real security company . We are American Total Protection .

Security alarms can communicate via internet (hardwired or WiFi depending on the system), phone line, or cellular. Often security alarms have two communication paths—one that is primary and one that is backup. ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails. We believe that the best is setup for fast and reliable communication is internet/WiFi primary with cellular backup. We feel that the internet communication is the fastest while the cellular is most reliable. Traditional alarms relied on phone lines to communicate.
