American Total Protection Sponsors Habitat For Humanity

ATP Alarms / ATP Fire is the team that is American Total Protection . This family owned and run company has been sponsor for Habitat for Humanity starting 2014. Wanting to be good stewards of the community and looking for meaningful partnerships just seemed like the right thing to do. At Habitat for Humanity, it’s really the gathering of an entire village all doing their part. “Recognizing the real impact that this organization can make for needy families is quite overwhelming” said Lena McAneney , security consultant in the alarm division at American Total Protection .

All through the community and the nation, homes created by this group Habitat for Humanity are popping up. Real contributions both financially and from the sweat of volunteers make it all happen. On their website , I went to their history tab to see when it all started. This is an excerpt from that page-

“The desire to make a difference … the goal to change lives, and make sure that all of God’s people in need had a simple, decent, place to live lead a small group of six people (Willie Colbert, Kathleen Dryden, Arden Johnson, Ginny Johnson, Jim Moore, and Louise Moore) to host a meeting on September 23, 1985, at First Church of Christ in Palm Bay. The purpose of this meeting was to set up the formal organization of a Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Six standing committees were formed, and in November, 1985, South Brevard Habitat for Humanity was officially registered as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.”

Besides their efforts building homes in the community , There is a store run by Habitat for Humanity called ReStore , check out this video to find out what its all about – and how you can help.

There is an event coming, The Hard Hats and High Heels Gala which is sure to lure plenty of like-minded philanthropy styled people who want to participate in this type of giving something back to the Brevard County community and points beyond. American Total Protection is a sponsor of this event and will continue to support Habitat for Humanity keep their homes safe providing fire extinguishers and home security systems . We encourage our friends and like-minded contractors to do what they can, when they can. Helping families is what they do, and at ATP Alarms and ATP Fire we have found a commonality with their goals and efforts. We express our sincere thank you to this organization for organizing these noble efforts.

ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails. We believe that the best is setup for fast and reliable communication is internet/WiFi primary with cellular backup.
