Honeywell Awards American Total Protection "Dealer of the Year" 3rd Place

On a fun filled weekend during November 7th thru the 10th 2013,  The Honeywell Authorized Security Dealer’s Development Group  rolled out the red carpet, hosting their annual convention in Los Angeles, California. Over the past decade, this event has grown exponentially. There were close to 1000 dealer representatives in attendance for the 2013 event. American Total Protection  d.b.a.  ATP Alarms  is a member of the elite security division titled First Alert Professional (FAP). Each company within FAP was automatically entered in the annual “Sales Frenzy” contest.

–  All of the Honeywell and First Alert Security Dealers were automatically entered into this competition.
–  Dealers were separated into seven groups according to their projected annual sales volume. This ensured that dealers competed in groups with companies of similar sizes.
–  Dealers were measured by the greatest percentage growth in a year-over-year comparison.

The  home security  industry in general has been experiencing explosive growth in the past year and with innovations in all aspects of technology. ATP Alarms, whom is a subsidiary of American Total Protection, had a banner year in 2013 with over 71 percent growth from the previous year. Accepting the award on behalf of American Total Protection were principals Dominic Prete and Lawrence (“Rence”) Coassin Jr.

The entire team at ATP Alarms has been thrilled with the company’s growth as the corporate office explained, “The sales people have sold more, our service department has done a great job handling an increase in customers, our account managers have diffused situations quickly and efficiently, and our installers have done an amazing job handling the increased volume. We have grown 71 percent with the same amount of people from a year ago – this is a testament to everyone’s effort and dedication!”

Often security alarms have two communication paths—one that is primary and one that is backup.
