What is Going On at Your House?

Do you know what’s going on at your house?

Do you ever wonder what your furry little friends do when you are at work or what’s going on at your house? I always wonder what my Siberian Husky, Shiloh, does while he is alone. Does he just sleep? Does he workout? Does he have a stash of snacks? Does his girlfriend come over? (Kidding, Shiloh does not get along with other dogs).

Now, through our smart home products and services, customers have the opportunity to check in on their fuzzy little friends from anywhere in the world. Even better, they can do so efficiently and at an affordable price .

ATP Alarms offers Total Connect cameras. These cameras are IP cameras that transmit the video stream via your in home wifi. In a sense, these cameras are wireless ; however, they do need to be plugged into a power a source. Please remember that when talking about cameras, there is really no such thing as a “wireless camera”—all cameras need Power.

These Total Connect cameras are small and do not require an invasive installation . They can be mounted in the corner of your kitchen or family room, often blending in with the décor of the room. These cameras allow you to tune in through your Total Connect App and watch in real time what is going on in your home. The app can be downloaded for free through various app stores (iPhone, Android, and Blackberry compatible).

Although these cameras are most effective for real time checkups, they also have the ability to send you ten second clips whenever it detects motion . This is ideal if you have a dog walker as it can send you a clip when he or she arrives, or when he or she leaves. We should always trust our dog walkers, but it is always nice knowing for a fact that Sparky got the hour walk he deserved (and that you paid for!).

This Total Connect camera system can function independently from or in conjunction with your security system. Meaning, if you do not want to update your current home security system, we can still install your Total Connect cameras. However, we always recommend that customers upgrade their alarm panels to the latest technology, as it is more reliable and efficient.

Next time you are curious if your pet is safe or if you return home and notice a pastry missing that was left on the counter—give ATP Alarms a call. Whether you have a current system or if you are just curious about the latest technology, a representative can speak with you on the phone, via email, or even free consultation in your home.

ATP Alarms is your local full service life safety and life efficiency company . If you have seen a technology online or on TV, chances are is we can do it. Give us a call yesterday. I mean, today.
