Security System Objectives

Our client moved there offices in April 2023 to a new location in North Haven, CT. The landlord installed a keyless entry system and a security alarm system. The team at Legacy was never properly trained and the system was not being used.

Furthermore, a previous employee-managed the system from a local PC so when that employee departed, the system could not be managed properly. The client found AmericanTotal Protection via Google and requested proposals for both the security alarm fire alarm.

Security Solution

ATP discovered an antiquated and non-supported access control system was installed and that the security alarm could not be managed remotely. ATP proposed reusing all the existing door hardware and readers in place but to upgrade the “head-end” of the access control system.

ATP also proposed a brand new alarm system that could be remotely managed. The team at Legacy Law Partners is very busy with the day to day of running a business and wanted a system that could be supported remotely by its security vendor. By installing a cloud-hosted access system and an alarm system that can be remotely controlled, Legacy is able to lean on ATP for remote support.

The new access control system can be managed from any PC or smartphone. Meaning, if the law firm wants to unlock a door, adjust a schedule, or add/erase a user, ATP can assist with the changes if needed.

We were searching for a local company that could upgrade our existing systems so that we could efficiently manage our users and security. ATP offered a fair and modern solution that met our needs.

Our clients expect reliable, user-friendly, and supported systems. Whenever designing systems, we highlight how the system will be serviced and controlled in the future. If customers do not find a system user-friendly, the system will not be used as frequently.
