Thank you . Those two words are so little and mean so much. When we say thank you to our veterans it is a world of emotions and meanings we are imparting in those two words. The value of military service to our country is priceless. Our veterans protect our borders, defend our interests overseas and guard our rights. Our military men and women served our country and us well and it is only befitting that we say thank you for all their hard work .
Freedom is not free and the privileges we enjoy we have our troops to thank. They placed their lives on hold, left their families and friends behind and went to serve their country, oftentimes in untenable and life-threatening situations. They have been willing and courageous. They risked their lives to serve this beautiful country we call home and protect the freedoms and liberty we enjoy.
Whether overseas or locally, our veterans have encountered danger in the pursuit to protect the freedom and security we take for granted today. Unlike being drafted in the past, today’s veterans have voluntarily enlisted to serve our country. Whether here in our homeland or overseas in a war-torn area, they have done their honorably best to maintain the freedoms we hold dear.
Every year we come together to salute our Veterans , those heroes of our society as we should do every year, and not just on Veterans Day. We salute the men and women who have served to defend our rights and the rights of others around the world. They are our heroes who fought hard to defend those unalienable rights outlined at the birth of our nation.
A lot of us will never be in their shoes. We do not understand the training that they have had to go through to make it in our armed forces. Neither do we understand the situations that they face across the world where they are stationed. But we do know that they have done the American people a great service. And so, expressing our appreciation is only right since we know that with the brave men and women of our armed forces many will think twice about infringing on the rights of the American people.
It is with gratitude and humility that we salute our troops and say thank you to our veterans. We truly appreciate the work that our veterans have done and continue to do to support America. We should all be doing something to help and honor our veterans and not just on Veterans Day. We can all say thanks by volunteering at a VA hospital , offering a helping hand to our local veterans’ groups , as well as donating money or time to worthy causes serving our veterans.
At ATP , we are trying to continue the tradition of great work by doing the little that we can by offering home security and safety devices for families in America. To all our American veterans, those brave men and women, the ATP Alarms family salutes you and says thank you for your service to our country .
